"exception to the rule"
The sun was low in the sky and was about to say goodbye to quite for the day, as Aaron entered with two cups of coffee in the hands of the open door. With an eye on his old friend, he sat down on a chair and put a cup in front of him. Dave looked up and nodded gratefully, as he stuffed his pipe still with the utmost concentration. Aaron watched him in how he pressed the tobacco focused and calm in the wooden well. He smiled and Dave looked at again.
"I know" he said, is aware of the silent reproach in Aaron's view, "but you're telling me does not mean that I now have to stop smoking?"
shook his head, the former team boss gently.
"Would it make what if I tell you that so that your risk of cancer and other complications is rising?" He asked back instead.
Dave grinned with amusement. "I have in my life and many large trucks had - and I'm still sitting here. Now ... "he made a vague gesture heaven, "... it does not matter anymore."
Aaron shrugged and took a sip of coffee while Dave infected his pipe and blew clouds of smoke into the air.
"Meanwhile, I do not mind anymore when I die." He continued. "I have four women and the BAU to survive, I was never a friend of sadness and personally I've always thought the alcohol would make me one day cooking." He grinned even wider. "Because it depends on the bit," he took the pipe from his mouth and it rolled between the fingers, not more. "
Aaron nodded and for a few minutes they sat together in silence. Rossi cleared his throat and be smoking a pipe laid to the side.
"If you thought that one day, so here we sit together?"
His opponent shook his head again.
"The chances of an FBI agent to reach the pension standing at 70 percent. 80 percent of the 70 are either physically damaged or are undergoing psychiatric treatment. And 60 percent of mental treatment are due to ... "
" dependence, "finished Dave statistics accurately. "In other words, is going to heal the chance to retire more or less zero."
The men smiled at each other.
"It's great that we are the exception to the rule," said Dave, and stopped. "Well, almost ..." he went on and took the pipe from his mouth.
Aaron's eyes sparkle with amusement. "Are not we always?" He asked back, and drank empty his coffee.
